India: Government introduces scientific ways for apple farming

To boost horticulture in the Kashmir valley, the government is bringing in new scientific techniques and methods for the farmers to produce world-class fruits. Horticulture is one of the many industries in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and contributes to around eight percent of the GDP.
