There is some good news for Bangladesh struggling with surging inflation, falling import cover and a weak currency ahead of the country's January elections. The international monetary fund's board approved its first review of Bangladesh's $4.7 billion bailout package. Dhaka will get $689.8 million in funds to combat its economic crisis.
