ICC Rejects Bangladesh Request to Move T20 World Cup Matches From India

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected Bangladesh’s request to move its T20 World Cup matches out of India, citing the lack of a credible security threat and the risks of altering schedules so close to the tournament. Bangladesh had sought to play its games in Sri Lanka amid rising tensions with India. With the tournament set to begin on 7 February, uncertainty remains over Bangladesh’s participation.
