Gravitas: Is Sri Lanka compromising on school-level learning in the name of reform?
Starting 2024, school students in Sri Lanka will take just one exam a year. Students will also be given just one workbook for each term. Lanka says the steps will reduce burden of exams and heavy school bags. But will it also compromise on learning?
