UK lawmakers have reportedly grilled the country's Defence Procurement Minister James Cartlidge over the poor accommodations given to military personnel. The housing units given to British servicemen are reportedly rat-infested, and have mold and damp. The issue has been persistently neglected and as a result, soldiers have been forced to live in shipping containers repurposed into rudimentary hotels reportedly.
