French senate passes pension reform bill amid raging protests

Despite raging protests across the country. The French senate has decided to adopt Macron's unpopular pension reform plan. There were 195 votes for and 112 votes against the bill in which a key point is to raise the age of retirement by two years from 62 to 64.
