Foxconn, the global electronics manufacturing giant, has set its sights on the southern state of Tamil Nadu. With an investment worth 194 million dollars, Foxconn, apple’s main supplier, plans to build a state-of-the-art electronic component manufacturing facility in the Kancheepuram district near Chennai, India. This venture is expected to create an impressive 6,000 job opportunities.
