FDA approves Iloprost: First-ever breakthrough treatment for frostbite

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved the first-ever treatment to treat severe frostbite among adults. The medicine will considerably reduce the risk of amputation sold under the brand name or Lumin. It is expected to be available in the spring of this year.
