EU Corruption Scandal: Parliament Chief moves to waive immunity of two MEPs

The European Parliament announced on Monday that, in response to a request from the Belgian judiciary looking into a corruption scandal involving the European Union and Qatar, it had started the process to lift the immunity of two of its members.
