The tomb of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, one of the largest in southern Egypt’s Valley of the Kings and Queens, is now officially open to the public after extensive restoration work. Years of damage and deterioration had left the structure at risk of collapse, but a major preservation effort has made it safe for visitors once again.
