Crypto week: US lawmakers to vote on major crypto bills

Washington is preparing for a pivotal week in crypto regulation. Between July 14 and 18, the US House of Representatives will vote on the Genesis Act, a bill that would allow private companies to issue stablecoins backed one-to-one by liquid cash. The proposal passed the Senate last month with a 68–30 majority.
