China unleashes hypersonic carrier killer weapon
Chinese state media has released footage showing a Type 052D destroyer launching the YJ-20 hypersonic anti-ship missile for the first time. Previously associated with larger cruisers, the deployment of the so-called "carrier-killer" missile on standard destroyers significantly expands China's maritime strike capabilities and strengthens its naval deterrence.
