The newly appointed Taliban defense minister has now claimed that they are bringing in new modernized weapons to build up the national army. During an exclusive conversation with WION's correspondent Anas Mallick Taliban's defence minister Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob said that they have started to form a strong army that would defend its land and sovereignty. This comes as Afghanistan continues to battle repeated attacks by isis affiliated groups following the Taliban takeover.
