Their emotions alternating between burn-out and pride, nursing staff at Berlin's Havelhoehe hospital are buckling down for another shift as, almost a year after COVID-19 first struck, the second wave of Germany's epidemic rages on. German hospitals association DKG said on Tuesday (January 26) that about 4,600 COVID-19 patients were in intensive care, down from a peak of 5,781 on Jan 4.
