Astronomers stunned by deep space comet from another solar system
Astronomers have detected 3I/ATLAS, the third-ever interstellar object to enter our solar system. Discovered on July 1 by Chile’s ATLAS telescope, this icy comet is speeding through space at ~60 km/s and currently lies around 4.5 AU (~670 million km) from the Sun
