Artwork, portrait of a lady to be returned to original Jewish owner
An Argentine federal court has ordered the return of Giuseppe Ghislandi's 18th-century masterpiece, "Portrait of a Lady," to Marei von Saher, the heir of prominent Dutch Jewish art dealer Jacques Goudstikker. Missing for eight decades, the Nazi-looted painting was spotted hanging above a sofa in an online real estate listing belonging to the daughter of a former SS officer in Mar del Plata.
