Archaeologists discovered a 2,700-year-old Assyrian wine press factory in Dohuk

A 2,700-year-old Assyrian wine press factory has been discovered in Khenes village in Dohuk governorate, in the northern Kurdish region of Iraq. The site is made up of 14 basins carved into the stone of a mountainside and connected to each other through small canals.
