Americans owe $1.14 trillion in credit card bills

According to data issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, credit card debt among American consumers as a whole is at a record $1.14 trillion. They owed $27 billion more in credit card debt as of the second quarter of 2024 than they did in debt of $1.13 trillion.
