Afghanistan: US spent more than $18.6 bn arming & equipping Afghan forces
A U.S. watchdog report reveals that weapons and equipment worth $7.1 billion are now under Taliban control. The gear was left behind after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, despite Washington spending over $18.6 billion to arm and train Afghan forces.
