Afghanistan: Taliban underscores its resistance against women's education
The Taliban Ministry of higher education has now ordered private universities to not allow its female students to take University level entrance examinations. Highlighting its policy of restricting women from attaining higher education, a letter from the ministry addressing institutions in the northern provinces of Afghanistan including Kabul say that institutions which will not observe the rules would face legal action.
