35 killed, at least 170 injured after Typhoon Hagibis makes landfall in Japan

Heavy downpours and winds hit the east coast of Japan on Saturday after Typhoon Hagibis made landfall on the Izu Peninsula on Japan's main island at 19:00 Saturday local time, according to local authorities, with most stores closed and public transportation shut down. According to the reports, at least 35 people got killed and more than 170 are injured.
