The SCO held its first in-person summit in Samarkand after two years of disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The summit had the participation of several world leaders such as Chinese President Xi Jinping, Putin, Raisi, and Shehbaz Sharif among others from the Central Asian countries.
