'End of an Era': Iconic Parsi Magazine 'Parsiana' To Shut After 60 Years
Mumbai: Mumbai: In a historic neo-gothic building in Mumbai’s Fort district, a modest office produces one of India’s oldest and most respected Parsi magazines, Parsiana. Founded in 1964 by Parsi doctor and sandalwood trader Pestonji Warden, the magazine chronicled the life and culture of the Parsi community. After 60 years, however, the magazine is set to close this October due to declining subscribers, financial difficulties, and the absence of a successor.
