<p>James Harrison, a railway department clerk, fondly known as the "Man with the Golden Arm" died at a nursing home in New South Wales, Australia.</p>
<h2><strong>Who was James Harrison?</strong></h2>
<p>A Guinness World Record holder, Harrison, in 2005 established the world record for most plasma donations. Throughout his life, he made 1,173 donations, a record that was broken recently in 2022 by Brett Cooper, from Walker, Michigan.</p>

<p>Harrison's grandson, Jarrod Mellowship, told Mirror UK that his grandfather donated blood "for the right reasons. As humble as he was, he did like the attention. But he would never do it for the attention."</p>
<p>The "Man with the Golden Arm" was apparently scared of needles but despite his fear he started donating in 1954, at the age of 18 and continued donating till he was 81.</p>
<p>Lifeblood, a national agency responsible for collecting and distributing blood products said that his donations saved the lives of 2.4 million babies.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"A donor for more than 60 years, our very own Man with the Golden Arm donated 1,173 times, contributing to 3 million doses of anti-D for Australian babies," said the Australian Red Cross.</p>

<p>His blood contained a rare antibody known as anti-D, which is used to make injections that protect unborn babies from a deadly condition called Haemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn, or HDFN.</p>
<p>Haemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn causes the mother's immune system to attack the foetus's red blood cells. In Australia only 200 blood donors have the anti-D antibody and these donors help 45,000 mothers and their babies annually.</p>

<p>Prajoyeeta Kashyap, the daughter of Assam's former chief minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, was allegedly seen assaulting a driver with a slipper while hurling abuses at him, as per&nbsp; a video doing the rounds on social media. The clip that has gone viral on social media purportedly shows her abusing a man who can be seen kneeling on the ground in front of her.</p>
<p>Kashyap, as per reports, has claimed that the man used to verbally abuse her in inebriated condition.</p>
<p>The video, widely being shared on social media platforms like X, and Instagram, has led to people questioning if this behaviour was 'justified'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A former CIA spy has claimed that there was once life on the planet Mars, and that he saw it unfold using his "remote-viewing" capabilities. This happened as the agency carried out experiments in the 1980s to gain information about far-off places, events, objects and other people's minds. <p>McMoneagle was part of a group of so-called mind-reading spies who were tasked with entering the minds of the enemies.</p>

<p>The podcast revealed that McMoneagle was the test subject of a document called "Mars Exploration May 22, 1984" that was declassified in 2017. He believes that life on the red planet vanished after a "big object passed through our solar system".&nbsp;</p>

<p>An envelope was given to him before the interview, but it wasn't opened until much later. An administrator asked him to focus his attention on "40.89 degrees north, 9.55 degrees west", without telling him that the coordinates were for a place on Mars.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bajinder Singh, a self-styled Christian prophet who went viral after his "Yeshu Yeshu" videos - allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl who used to work in his organisation. A case was filed against him in Jalandhar district of the Indian state of Punjab on Sunday (March 2).&nbsp;</p>
<p>As per the complaint cited in a news agency PTI report, the now 22-year-old victim alleged that she and her parents had been visiting the pastor's church since October 2017.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a press conference, a video of which circulated online on March 3, the victim said she joined his organisation as an employee in 2020 and the assaults started in 2021. Singh asked for her contact number and started texting her objectionable messages. He said he loved her and asked to marry her. She claimed that Singh threatened her to not tell anyone about his act or else he would kill her parents.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Singh threatened her, "Your father goes out, do you want that he never comes back?" the girl alleged.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She said in 2022, Singh's harassment escalated. He started following her on her way to college and mentally tortured her. She claimed he used to touch her inappropriately when she used to visit church.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He gained fame and popularity after promising that through his services, he would heal people and grant miraculous wishes.</p>
<p>He has claimed to heal people from HIV, muteness, and many more via his social media videos, which gained massive popularity online.&nbsp;</p>

The US Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in its ruling said that she failed to show "background circumstances" that could show that the state agency is "that unusual employer who discriminates against the majority".</p>

<p>"We're in radical agreement today," quipped Justice Neil Gorsuch, one of six conservatives on the bench.</p>
<p>Justice Brett Kavanaugh pressed her lawyer, Xiao Wang, for clarity: "So all you want for this case is a really short opinion that says discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, whether it's because you're gay or because you're straight, is prohibited?"</p>
<p>"That's right, your honour," Wang replied.</p>
<p>Ames, he added, was simply seeking "four words on the side of this building -- equal justice under law."&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>State pushes back</strong></h2>
<p>Ohio's Solicitor General Elliot Gaiser defended the state, arguing there was no evidence Ames lost out due to her sexual orientation.</p>
<p>"She could not establish that anybody was motivated by sexual orientation or even knew her sexual orientation," he said, adding that it was unclear whether hiring officials even knew the candidates' sexual orientations.</p>
<p>But Justice Sonia Sotomayor saw cause for concern.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"She was a 20-year employee with great reviews," Sotomayor noted. "All of a sudden, she's not hired, and someone's hired who's gay, doesn't have her level of college experience and didn't even want the job." A ruling is expected this summer.</p>
