"The intention of this letter is to keep the smooth passenger movement between two countries based on signed MoU and our national carriers (Ariana Afghan airline and Kam Air) aim to commence their scheduled flights," he said.

Therefore, Afghanistan CAA requests you to facilitate their commercial flights, Akhunzada noted.

"We want to repeat that people of Panjshir are just like any other place from Afghanistan and we will not discriminate against them," Zabihullah reiterated.&nbsp;

On restarting operation at Kabul airport, the Taliban spokesman said: "Domestic flights have already started&nbsp;and we are looking into when can we start international flights."

The spokesman added that the "reconstruction" of Kabul airport is ongoing while adding: "business and trade will start and be back to normal slowly."

The spokesman also claimed that the currency rate of the Afghani is stable even as it had taken a major hit in the past month as the Taliban took control of Kabul.

In a rare instruction, Taliban leaders have ordered their militants not to open fire in form of celebratory gunfire, as it has led to death of several locals.

The order has come after two people were killed and at least 12 people were injured due to a similar celebratory airfiring. When militants heard rumours about Taliban’s victory over the anti-Taliban resistance, some members open fired in the air to celebrate the news. However, it resulted in people getting injured and killed.

However,m later the leader of the anti-Taliban resistance denied the reports and stated that his fighters are still fighting the Taliban militants.

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid took to Twitter to urge his militants to stop the violent celebrations right away. Addressing to his militants as 'Notable Mujahideen in Kabul and across the country', he said, "Avoid shooting in the air and thank God instead.&nbsp;Weapons and ammunition are in your hands, no one has the right to waste them.&nbsp;Cold bullets are more likely to harm civilians; So don't shoot unnecessarily," the tweet read.

"That doesn't mean we didn't do contingency planning or game-out or test the other propositions. And just to be clear, that's something that was widely shared - that view - amongst NATO allies."

In defence of his handling of the situation, Raab said he had more than 40 meetings or calls between March and August in which Afghanistan was on the agenda.

On Saturday, Britain's last military flight departed Kabul, capping two chaotic weeks in which the nation helped evacuate 15,000 people from crowds of people&nbsp;who descended on Kabul airport,&nbsp;desperate to flee Afghanistan.

Intelligence said Kabul will not fall this year; UK's Raab defends handling of Afghan evacuation

As the Afghan crisis worsens and US troops move towards the August 31 deadline, the French President Emmanuel Macron has declared that France will stay back in Iraq even if the US troops withdraw.

His announcement came at a regional summit on Saturday in Iraq, that he attended as the threat of Taliban is spreading in the nearby areas of Afghanistan.

"No matter what choices the Americans make, we will maintain our presence in Iraq to fight against terrorism," Macron told a news conference in Baghdad.&nbsp;"We have the operational capacity to ensure this presence."

"We all know that we must not lower our guard, because Daesh (the Islamic State group) remains a threat, and I know that the fight against these terrorist groups is a priority of your government," Macron said.

He also added that&nbsp;France is in talks with the Taliban on humanitarian operations.
