Salman Khan’s Bharat has been in the news ever since the makers announced the film. For the most part of the time, it was around Priyanka Chopra joining the star cast -- which finally got confirmed last month when both Salman and Priyanka took to their Twitter to make the announcement. Now, it is being said that even Tiger Shroff’s rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani will be joining the cast as the requirement of the script is of two heroines. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film Bharat is a remake of the South Korean film Ode to my Father. Salman Khan will star in and produce the film. This refutes all previous claims of Shraddha Kapoor joining the cast. Also Read: Sunil Grover joins Salman Khan's 'Bharat' cast Talking about the plot of the film, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Since the story spans over a period of 70 years, there will be many historical references. It is essentially about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. We are currently working on the film’s pre-production and details will be announced once we are in a position to talk about them.” According to a report published in DNA, a source revealed: “Salman will sport five different looks in Bharat, which begins with him witnessing one of the most dramatic chapters of our history — the Partition. It’s an Indian adaptation of the Korean movie, Ode to My Father and will be a commercial film with a mix of action, drama and music.” The film is slated to release on Eid 2019 and will go on floors in July, after the release of Salman Khan’s Race 3, this year’s Eid release.

Shah Rukh and Salman Khan danced their heart out at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception on Tuesday night as nearly the entire film industry descended at Leela Hotel to celebrate the joyous occasion. Giving the two Khans company was the father of the bride, actor Anil Kapoor himself, who set the ball rolling with early performances with his nephew Arjun Kapoor. SRK and Salman came in late to the party but really got it started with their impromptu dance on stage. As the crowd cheered, SRK, Salman along with Anil Kapoor danced on numerous hit numbers including 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', 'One Two Ka Four', 'Koi Mil Gaya' and more. <p>In an interview with a leading fashion magazine, she divulged details about her recently signed a film with Salman Khan, titled <em>Bharat</em> that will go on floors sometime this year. Speaking about it, she said, "Bharat is the Indian movie I signed this year. It's the quintessential Bollywood movie, which I haven't done in many years. A lot of them were dramatic and thematic. This one's going to be out and out entertainment. I'm excited! I haven't been back to do a movie in two or three years now."</p>

<p>She continued, "I can explain that more. When people say, "You're doing a Bollywood movie," they only think of Bollywood movies being synchronized song and dance. Bollywood is the name for an entire industry. Those aren't the only kind of movies we make."</p>

<p>She explained what Bollywood is all about and defined the kind of cinema the industry produces. She said, "We have every other genre. Yes, music is a very important part of it, but we don't have synchronized dancing in everything we do. Plus, Bollywood is not a place. Every country and every culture has its stereotype, I get that. Here, everyone has superpowers and aliens only land in America. I just really want Indian cinema to break through that and for people to be introduced to the other forms of Indian cinema we have."</p>

<p>Also, Priyanka being herself couldn't stop giving us reasons to love her more and so she added, "To me, being an Indian actor, or an actor of South Asian descent, or a woman of color, or an immigrant-whichever title you like-being all of those people and being in America and getting the kind of welcome and love I've gotten within the industry, it feels like a sense of acceptance. I hope with me getting that acceptance, it opens up the floodgates for more people who look like me. I hope that sort of makes the conversation for actresses or people of colour to get more opportunities because it's the opportunities that lack."</p>

<p>"I'm an actor and an artist, and I want to go where my work takes me. I don't want to settle for one or two countries, I want the world. I'm very clear about it. As long as people want to watch me, I want to entertain”, she added.&nbsp;<br />
