<p>Naseeruddin Shah believes cinema serves as a record of times and he would not want the audience to look back at 2018 as the phase of only one kind of cinema, case in point "Salman Khan films".<br />

The #MeToo movement gained momentum in the country in the light of Tanushree Dutta's allegations of harassment against Nana Patekar. Many from the entertainment industry, including Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl and comedy group AIB, have been called out for various incidents of sexual misconduct and harassment.<br />

"The #MeToo movement has gained momentum in present times. The world has got smaller with social media, one voice is becoming larger. What is nice to see in the present time is that the members of the media are becoming allied and propelling voices that needs to be heard and giving them the platform. The law of the land will take over for justice to be served.&nbsp;<br />

"It wouldn't be right to specifically comment on individual cases as matters would be sub judice and that would not be responsible on our part but having said that, God bless and strength to the voices that need that kind of support and you all need to be there," Aishwarya said in an interview here.<br />

Years back, Aishwarya had accused Salman Khan of physically assaulting her while she was in a relationship with him. Salman had later refuted the allegations- video of which has resurfaced and doing the rounds of the Internet now. Releasing the <em>Zero</em> teaser, a day in advance than planned -- Shah Rukh and Salman offer double bonanza to those who wanted to see their pairing on the big screen again.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Calling it an Eid special teaser, Salman Khan enters the frame to introduce the character of Shah Rukh Khan in the film -- who happens to play the lead in the film. Shah Rukh’s name in the film is Bauua Singh.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The teaser begins with the voice over from Javed Jaffery at a dance competition. Shah Rukh enters the frame to only be followed by Salman. The two then dance and brighten up the stage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was first said that the teaser will release on Eid and that it will be attached to Salman’s film <em>Race 3 </em>that is scheduled to release on June 15.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Interestingly in the teaser, Shah Rukh wears a t-shirt with Katrina Kaif’s face printed on it. Apart from Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif, the film also stars Anushka Sharma.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier, Shah Rukh shared a selfie with director Anand on Thursday morning as they waited to share the teaser. From being an assistant choreographer to acting in films, Daisy is a firm believer in destiny and is glad to have a mentor like Salman Khan by her side.<br />

<p>Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan confessed to placing bets during the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, as per media reports.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actor confessed to his crime while recording his statement at Thane Police's Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) on Saturday.</p>

<p>He further admitted that he has placing bets since last six years, reports added.</p>

<p>The 'Dabangg' actor appeared before the anti-Extortion Cell after he was summoned by the police in connection with Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 betting scam on Friday.</p>

<p>Producer Parag Sanghvi's name too has been brought in the IPL betting case.</p>

<p>The Agra unit chief of ex-VHP president Pravin Togadia’s new organisation Hindu Hi Aage has declared a Rs&nbsp;2 lakh reward for anybody who slaps Bollywood actor Salman Khan.</p>

<p>Govind Parashar has accused Salman of hurting Hindu sentiments by naming a movie, <em>Loveratri </em>that sounds like a Hindu festival Navratri and also deliberately scheduling it for a release during the festival.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taking the law into their hands, Parashar and other Hindu Hi Aage activists burnt posters of Salman Khan’s movies. They also raised slogans against the actor and the movie <em>Loveratri. Loveratri</em> is scheduled to be released in October and features his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.</p>

<p>Parashar said, “The movie is being produced by Salman Khan by distorting ‘Navratri’ – a religious occasion with which sentiments of lakhs of Hindus are attached. We condemn such intention of Salman Khan and seek a ban on the movie. If it is permitted to be screened, we would oppose it tooth and nail.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>He warned, “We won’t tolerate hurting of Hindu sentiments and as city unit president of Hindu Hi Aage I have declared a reward of Rs two lakh for anyone thrashing cine actor Salman Khan in public.”</p>

<p>He added, “The Censor Board should not allow this movie. If allowed to be screened it would invite angry protests by Hindu Hi Aage and the cinema halls screening the movie would be burnt.”</p>

<p>Adding to the long list of newcomers that Bollywood star Salman Khan has launched -- is Zaheer Iqbal with whom the star posted a throwback picture yesterday on his Instagram page.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Asking his fans to guess who the boy is, Salman announced to reveal the name of the boy and his association with him today as he wrote: “being launched tomorrow”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Well, the boy in the photo is Zaheer Iqbal and he is ready to be launched by the superstar under his own banner SKF (Salman Khan Films) in a romantic film that will go on floors in September this year.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Who is Zaheer Iqbal?&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>To start with he is not from the acting fraternity, nor his father nor anyone in his family is closely associated with the entertainment biz. Zaheer’s father is a close friend of Salman’s father, Salim and so Salman and Zaheer have known each other since Zaheer was a kid. As Zaheer grew into a good-looking chap, Salman spotted him dancing at his sister’s wedding, where he was doing a stage performance. That’s when Salman decided to launch Zaheer in films.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The said romantic film will be launched along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. The yet-to-be-titled film will be helmed by Nitin Kakkar, who directed “Filmistaan” (2013). The leading lady opposite Zaheer will also be a new face and is expected to be finalised shortly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Salman has been training Zaheer for a while now and is confident that Zaheer will perform well on the screen. He has named him ‘Zahero’-- which is what the entire film crew also calls him. Incidentally, the superstar personally did Zaheer’s photo shoot recently.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bollywood superstar Salman Khan`s live tour in Nepal has been postponed until further notice, the event organiser has confirmed.</p>

<p>"We would like to inform our loyal and precious supporters that due to some reason the event `Dabangg - The Tour Nepal` has been postponed until further notice. We will inform everyone as soon as the dates are confirmed. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience" read a Facebook post from the event`s organiser ODC Entertainment.</p>

<p>The event at Tundikhel, near the Army Headquarters, was earlier scheduled for March 10. However, it later got postponed to April 26.</p>

<p>Besides Salman, the event was also expected to be graced by Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhudheva, Meet Bros, Daisy Shah, Kriti Sanon and Manish Paul.</p>

<p>It was organised by Nepali event organising company, ODC Entertainment Pvt. Ltd with script and direction from the Sohail Khan Entertainment and JA Events.</p>

<p>The notification ordered importers and distributors of foreign films to restrain from exhibiting and screening Indian films in cinemas across Pakistan.</p>

<p>Pakistan film exhibitors'&nbsp;association chairmen in Sindh and Karachi were requested to ensure the order was implemented including the chairperson of the film censor board of Punjab and Lahore.</p>

<p>Bollywood megastar Salman Khan's moves which are a big hit in Pakistan is likely to be most affected. The Bollywood superstar will be releasing his movie Race 3 during Eid.</p>
