Almost six hours after the funeral procession, the Queen's coffin was lowered into a vault through an opening in the floor at Windsor Castle's chapel— the resting place of many past monarchs, including&nbsp;her husband Prince Philip—who died last year aged 99—King George III, IV and V, William IV and others.&nbsp;

Thus, the "second Elizabethan age" was symbolically brought to an end when the highest-ranking official in the royal household, Lord Chamberlain Andrew Parker, broke his wand of office and the Imperial State Crown, orb and sceptre were placed on the high altar.

The coffin was wrapped with the Royal Standard while the Imperial State Crown, which houses almost 3,000 diamonds, the sovereign's orb and sceptre&nbsp;sat atop it.

Later King Charles III left a personal handwritten atop her coffin that read, "In loving and devoted memory" and was signed Charles R — for Rex, which is Latin for king.

And before her coffin was lowered, which was by marked a lone piper playing a haunting lament, the Queen's titles were read publicly for the one last time.

As per news agency The Associated Press, more than 100 employees were set aside from other work to make British-themed flags. This comes after a diplomatic spat saw Chinese officials barred from visiting the&nbsp;late monarch's coffin.&nbsp;

In the south of Shanghai, at the Shaoxing Chuangdong Tour Articles Co., employees were putting in around 14 hours per day and they used to start the work early in the morning.&nbsp;

According to general manager Fan Aiping, they turned out at least 500,000 in the first week. The report mentioned that some British flags were to be carried by mourners or hung outside homes. Several flags showed the Queen's portrait and the years of her birth and death.&nbsp;

An official Chinese delegation was banned from attending the Queen's lying-in-state following an intervention by House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle.&nbsp;

But later, China's vice president Wang Qishan attended the Queen's funeral. Foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in a statement, "At the invitation of the UK government, President Xi Jinping's Special Representative Vice President Wang Qishan will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II to be held in London on September 19."&nbsp;

According to general manager Fan Aiping, they turned out at least 500,000 in the first week. The report mentioned that some British flags were to be carried by mourners or hung outside homes. As per Fan, the first customer sent an order at 3 am (local time) for tens of thousands of flags. She further added that the factory had around 20,000 in stock that were sent out that morning. According to testimony given in court, the first complainant had been in line for hours when she spotted Adeshine creeping closer to her and felt something touch her back. When she turned around, she saw that he had exposed himself.

The lying-in-state ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall formally ended and the doors closed to the public ahead of her state funeral on Monday.

Earlier, they had also issued a directive that stated that people will not be allowed to queue beyond a stipulated period.&nbsp;

It is said that the state is focused on the emotional response to loss, but grief also has physical, cognitive, behavioural, social, cultural, spiritual and philosophical dimensions.&nbsp;

In a report by Nature, Michael Cholbi, a philosopher and ethicist at the University of Edinburgh, UK, said as quoted that most grief research has focused on the loss of parents, close friends or spouses.&nbsp;

Cholbi said that the one-sided relationships between a person and a well-known public figure are called parasocial relationships.&nbsp;

Cholbi said, "I certainly think that parasocial relationships can give rise to grief. I don't see why we should anticipate that grief would only arise, only make sense, within the context of reciprocal relationships."&nbsp;

According to the report, some researchers attribute parasocial grief to a loss of possibility. Philosopher Louise Richardson said, "The experience of grief is a kind of disruption to the experience of the world overall. When it happens, there’s a kind of shattering of your assumptions." Richardson is a co-director of a project at the University of York, UK, called Grief: A Study of Human Emotional Experience.&nbsp;

She basically cites a theory called the assumptive world, which suggests that a person has strongly held and grounding assumptions about the world.&nbsp;

She said, "The kind of losses that we grieve over are the ones that disrupt that assumptive world, which can explain feelings of grief about the death of the Queen."&nbsp;

Cholbi also suggested that if people have invested their identities with public figures, then they will mourn their loss. It does make sense. &nbsp; &nbsp;

"This is the loss of someone that has played a part in their own values and concerns. So it feels like not just kind of a loss of the person, but in a certain way, a small loss of an aspect of oneself," she added.&nbsp;

Just when a thaw appeared in the relationship between the top Royals and&nbsp;Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a Telegraph report claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been uninvited from Queen Elizabeth II's pre-funeral functions.

Reportedly, earlier this week, the couple received invitations to a grand pre-funeral event hosted by King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla for the world leaders. However, according to the report, they have been informed that the event is only for working royals.&nbsp;

The report further mentioned that the couple was apparently baffled after hearing about the decision as royal officials insisted that they do not attend the event.&nbsp;

It is pertinent to note that Queen Elizabeth II's coffin has been kept at Westminster Hall since Wednesday for the public to pay their respects.

World leaders such as US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron amongst others hundreds of heads of state will be gathering in London on the eve of the Queen's funeral, scheduled to take&nbsp;place on Monday at the Windsor Chapel where she will be buried.

This is not the first time in the aftermath of the Queen's demise that Prince Harry has been cast aside by the top Royals.

As reported by WION, Prince Harry was reportedly barred from wearing his military uniform at the Queen's vigil, primarily because when he quit royal life in 2020 and moved to California with his wife Meghan Markle, he was stripped of the right.&nbsp;

Briefing reporters, Mao Ning, a spokeswoman for the ministry, said that Beijing will release further details at an appropriate time, South China Morning Post reported.

Many world leaders, including from the Commonwealth nations, have confirmed their presence at the funeral. US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will also make the trip.

Among the few leaders who did not receive an invitation to attend the funeral are Russian President Vladimir Putin, due to the Ukrainian invasion, and leaders of Belarus and Myanmar, the Press Association news agency reported quoting government sources.

Moscow had confirmed Putin’s absence at the funeral while the Myanmar government has been sanctioned by UK over last year’s coup.

Indian President Droupadi Murmu will be attending the state funeral of British monarch Queen Elizabeth II, the ministry of external affairs said on Wednesday. She will be visiting London&nbsp;from September 17 to September 19&nbsp;and is expected to offer condolences on behalf of the Government of India.&nbsp;

“In the 70 years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, India-UK ties have evolved, flourished and strengthened immensely. She played an important role in the welfare of millions of people around the world as Head of the Commonwealth,” the ministry of external affairs said in a statement.&nbsp;
