In the same operation, an assistant sub inspector of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was killed, and four other soldiers were injured. The chief education officer of Jammu ordered the closure of all the schools, which fall in a radius of 5 km of the encounter site. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Another operation is underway in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir. The encounter, which had started on April 21, continues even after the killing of four terrorists in the gunfight. Security forces say another terrorist is hiding in the area. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Days after members of the student wing of the CPN-Unified Socialist, a party in Nepal’s ruling coalition burned an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while staging a protest, Nepal Home Ministry on Sunday termed the act as "disgraceful actions".&nbsp;

The ministry released a statement requesting people to not carry out any action “that may hurt the dignity and respect of the friendly nations.”

The CPN-Unified Socialist is&nbsp;a newly formed party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal and is part of the coalition government led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.&nbsp;

They had staged a protest against the alleged involvement of the Indian Sashstra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel in an incident in which one Jaya Singh Dhami disappeared into the Mahakali river in the Darchuala district of Nepal.&nbsp;

“The activities of chanting slogans, holding demonstrations, protests and burning effigies to tarnish the image of the neighbouring friendly nation's Prime Minister has caught the attention of the Home Ministry. The ministry of home affairs expressed great objection towards such reprehensible&nbsp;and disgraceful actions,” the Home Ministry said in a statement.&nbsp;

Highlighting the bilateral relations between India and Nepal, the ministry said, “The government of Nepal wishes to have a friendly relationship with all friendly nations and is determined not to let any activities that may harm the national interest.”

After being criticised for not solving the incident and alleged involvement of Indian SSB, it said, “We have a long tradition of solving the dispute with the neighbouring nation through diplomatic channels and mutual dialogue. In future as well, diplomatic initiative and mutual discourse will be utilised while solving any dispute.”

Following the incident, the Nepal government formed a committee to investigate the incident.&nbsp;An investigation committee consisting of bureaucrats and police officials has also confirmed the presence of Indian personnel’s presence in the incident site. However, it has failed to hold them responsible for the incident.

The Home Ministry further warned to take&nbsp;action against the act.&nbsp;“Home Ministry will take action in order to control the activities targeted against the friendly neighbouring nation and will punish those who involve themselves in such unlawful activities,” it said.

"In the long term, only a self-reliant India is in everyone's interest. At the core of Atmanirbhar Bharat is to create wealth and values not only for ourselves but for the larger humanity. We believe that an Atmanirbhar Bharat is good for the world," he said.

In the recent past, when the world needed medicines, India did whatever it could to provide them, he said

"Our scientists worked in a quick time to come out with vaccines. Now, India is humbled that vaccines made in India are going around the world. We want to heal as well as help humanity. This is exactly what the Bhagavad Gita teaches us," the prime minister stressed.

He said when the Bhagavad Gita was born there was conflict and many feel that humanity is passing through similar conflict and challenges now, Modi said.

"The world is fighting a tough battle against a once-in-a-lifetime global pandemic. The economic and social impacts are also far reaching. In such a time, the path shown in Bhagavad Gita becomes ever relevant," he asserted.

It could provide strength and direction to once again emerge victorious from the challenges humanity faces, he said.

"In India, we saw many instances of this. --our people-powered fight against COVID-19, the outstanding spirit of the people, the courage of citizens, one can say that behind this is a glimpse of what the Gita highlights," he said.

Noting that e-books are becoming very popular specially among the youth, Modi said, therefore, this effort will connect more youngsters with the?noble thoughts of the Gita.

The beauty of the Gita is in its depth, diversity and flexibility, he said.
