“Form upar neeche hota hai, player (Virat Kohli) ka quality kabhi kharab nahi hota hai. (There will always be ups and downs in the cricketer’s form but players’ quality will never fade away.) Former India captain Kapil Dev had recently suggested Virat Kohli should be dropped from India's T20I team if he cannot bounce back from his ongoing lean patch in international cricket. Kohli, who has not scored a century in international cricket since November 2019, has struggled to score runs for India consistently across all formats. His dismal run has continued in the ongoing T20I series between India and England.

If India's batting has been very good in both the games, the bowling has simply been outstanding with complete domination in the powerplays. Since he got full-time captaincy, the Indian team is yet to lose a match under him.

Undercover football crowd-style spotters will be placed throughout the stadium to listen out for abusive behaviour and report it for immediate action," said a Warwickshire statement.

Stuart Cain, Warwickshire's chief executive, said the club had to do more to combat the kind of incidents that marred the Test match.
