<p>Ahead of the hotly anticipated 2024 US presidential elections as well as the general elections in India, X (formerly known as Twitter) has fired its election team working to prevent disruptions during the polls.</p>

<p>Former X CEO Elon Musk took to the platform and confirmed that the 'election integrity' team was 'gone'. Responding to a post that said X had reportedly cut half of its team, Musk said:&nbsp;“Oh you mean the ‘Election Integrity’ Team that was undermining election integrity? Yeah, they’re gone.”</p>

<p>According to a <em>Guardian </em>report, a number of staff members working out of the Dublin office, including Aaron Rodericks, the co-lead of the election disinformation team have left the company.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The sudden firing of the election staff suggests that the workers were not aware that Musk was mulling such a move. Last month, Roderick posted a recruitment ad on LinkedIn, saying he was looking to hire eight staffers ahead of more than 70 elections worldwide in 2024.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“If you have a passion for protecting the integrity of elections and civic events, X is certainly at the centre of the conversation!” he wrote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>One of the sources added that although Tesla requested a variety of incentives to establish a battery storage factory, Indian officials made it clear that they would not be granted. <p>Neuralink said those with paralysis due to cervical spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis might qualify for the study.</p>

<p>The trial will take about six years to complete but it is not yet known how many participants would be enrolled.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The PRIME Study (short for Precise Robotically Implanted Brain-Computer Interface) – a groundbreaking investigational medical device trial for our fully-implantable, wireless brain-computer interface (BCI) – aims to evaluate the safety of our implant (N1) and surgical robot (R1) and assess the initial functionality of our BCI for enabling people with paralysis to control external devices with their thoughts," the statement said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The study would use a robot to surgically place a brain-computer interface (BCI) implant in a region of the brain that controls the intention to move, it said.</p>

<p>The initial goal here is to enable people to control a computer cursor or keyboard using their thoughts alone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Once in place, the N1 Implant is cosmetically invisible and is intended to record and transmit brain signals wirelessly to an app that decodes movement intention," the statement added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Experts have pointed out that even if the BCI device proves to be safe for human use, it would still probably take over a decade for Neuralink to secure commercial use clearance for it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"And all I can say is, I hope you find, within the confines of the First Amendment, the ability to stop not only antisemitism, or roll it back as best you can, but any collective hatred of people….I know you’re committed to that and I hope you succeed. And it’s not an easy task, but I encourage you and urge you to find a balance," added Netanyahu.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a reply, Musk said while his platform couldn't stop all hate speech, he was&nbsp;"generally against attacking any group, no matter who it is".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Liss-Riordan's memo, sent to her clients and viewed by Bloomberg News, declared the latest development: “After 10 months of pressing them in every direction, we have succeeded in getting Twitter to the table. Twitter wants to mediate with us in a global attempt to settle all claims we have filed.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sources familiar with the matter, who wished to remain anonymous, have confirmed that X Corp. is now complying with a court order to engage in mediation to address these disputes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Today, we begin an enormous and complex and vital undertaking: building a foundation for bipartisan AI policy that Congress can pass," Schumer told the meeting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tesla boss Musk, known for his critical views regarding AI, praised Schumer for the forum before stating that a 'referee' was needed to regulate the technology.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's important for us to have a referee," Musk told reporters, adding that a regulator would "ensure that companies take actions that are safe and in the interest of the general public".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this year, Musk and a group of AI experts had called for a six-month pause in the development of AI systems, citing&nbsp;potential risks to society.</p>

Taiwan 'not for sale': Taipei slams Elon Musk over ‘blindly flattering’ comments for China

<p>After Morgan Stanley predicted that Tesla’s Dojo supercomputer would boost the electric vehicle maker’s market value by over $600 billion by accelerating its entry into robotaxis and software services, shares of Tesla rose by 6 per cent on Monday.</p>

<p>The world’s most valuable car manufacturer, Tesla, began producing Dojo in July and expects to spend more than $1 billion on it over the course of the following year. Dojo will train AI models for self-driving cars.</p>

<p>According to the analysts at Morgan Stanley led by Adam Jones, Dojo can open up new addressable markets that “extend well beyond selling vehicles at a fixed price”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a note drafted on Sunday, Adam Jones said, “If Dojo can help make cars 'see' and 'react,' what other markets could open up? Think of any device at the edge with a camera that makes real-time decisions based on its visual field.”</p>

<p>Ferrari's U.S.-listed shares were replaced by Tesla's stock as the Wall Street brokerage raised it from "equal-weight" to "overweight" and designated it as the "top pick."</p>

<p>According to LSEG data, Morgan Stanley increased its 12-to-18-month price target on Tesla's shares by 60 per cent to $400, making it the highest among Wall Street brokerages. At this&nbsp;price, according to Morgan Stanley’s estimates, the EV manufacturer would have a market value of nearly $1.39 trillion.</p>

<p>Based on the stock’s closing value of $248.5 on Friday, this is almost 76 per cent greater than Tesla's market worth of about $789 billion. On Monday, the stock increased by almost 5.7 per cent to $262.70.</p>

<p>Jonas anticipates Dojo to be the programme and service that adds the most value.</p>

<p>Morgan Stanley increased its revenue forecast for Tesla's network services division from $157 billion to $335 billion in 2040.</p>
