<p>The Transporter-9 was launched by SpaceX's Falcon-9 rocket from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 10:49 am local time (1:49 pm EST; 1849 GMT) on November 11.</p>

<p>As per SpaceX mission details, this was "the 12th launch and landing of this Falcon 9 stage booster."</p>

<p>The 90 payloads included CubeSats, MicroSats, and orbital transfer vehicles, which, according to the mission description, will deploy more spacecraft at a later stage.</p>

<p>Transporter 9, as per space.com, is SpaceX's 82nd orbital mission this year. This year, the rocket maker has broken its own previous record of 61 launches — in 2022. While the mission's 90 payloads are for sure hefty, Elon Musk's company holds the record of sending 143 satellites to orbit — with its Transporter-1 mission in January 2021.</p>

<p>While sharing traits of his new AI tool, the tech mogul highlighted how it loved sarcasm and injected humour into all its responses.</p>

<p>"Grok loves sarcasm. I have no idea who could have guided it this way," Musk quipped, adding a laughing emoji to his post on X.</p>

<p>"It is designed to have a little humour in its responses," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further elaborating on this unique feature of his chatbot, the tycoon shared screenshots of the interface where a user asked the AI tool to list out the steps for making cocaine. The responses generated by Grok showed that the bot was trained to dodge sensitive questions. It gave witty answers to the user putting its comic side to full display.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The SEC sued Musk on October 5 to make him testify for the probe. The investigation was launched in April 2022. Musk has filed his objection in the San Francisco federal court. His lawyers have said that the SEC's subpoena exceeds the agency's investigative authority. They've also said that the subpoena is overly burdensome and seeks" irrelevant evidence".</p>

<p>The commission has said that it was looking into Musk's 2022 purchases of Twitter stock and also his statements and SEC filings related to Twitter and that Musk had declined to attend a September interview for the investigation.</p>

<p>Elon Musk, the billionaire business magnate and the owner of X, formerly Twitter, has announced a significant change to Twitter's community notes system, with a purported&nbsp;aim of discouraging the spread of disinformation or blatantly false information on the platform. Users&nbsp;whose posts on X get&nbsp;amended by the platform's "community notes" feature won’t be able to monetise those posts, X owner Elon Musk said Sunday (Oct 29).</p>

<p>The change, Musk said, is meant to ensure "accuracy over sensationalism."</p>

<p>"This comment is pure, unadulterated hate. And it’s still up more than 24 hours after it was posted. It needs to be taken down. And the &nbsp;senator’s party-one of the biggest and most established in Pakistan, and a big part of the previous ruling coalition-should condemn it," Kugelman wrote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"This is what (is) emboldening anti-Jewish sentiments gets the world. A Pakistan senator posted this. Words matter. What's seen on the streets in the West has repercussions across the world," wrote another user on X.</p>

<p>"This is coming from a senator from Pakistan’s ruling party. Absolutely vile. He may not face any repercussions for this in Pakistan but X must delete the tweet and suspend his account," wrote a third user.</p>

<p>While Adolf Hitler did not invent the hatred of Jews, he went on to capitalise on antisemitic ideas that had been around for a long time.</p>

<p>Starlink in itself is part of corporate set-up, yes but from what SpaceX and Musk have been saying, it aims to make power of satellites for everyday communication more accessible to users.</p>

<p>Literally thousands! Starlink started launching satellites in 2019. By August this year, they have already sent more than 5000 satellites. The company plans to ultimately send 42000 satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Starlink has already begun providing internet service in many countries but not all. A low Earth orbit puts a satellite about 342 miles (550 kilometres) above the ground.</p>

<p>What's more, the low Earth orbit means that you don't need special equipment to see a Starlink satellite if it is passing through night sky above you. With naked eye, the satellite may appear like a star that is moving.</p>

<p>In case of Starlink satellites, however, due to their sheer numbers, they are often visible in the night sky as a 'train' of stars moving in a line. This is quite a sight for those who haven't seen such a thing before.</p>

<p>There are many apps that tell when exactly Starlink satellites are above you or going to be above you. You can then just look at the sky and see the 'train' of Starlink satellites. Stargazers around the world began reporting such trains within 60 days of launch of first satellites.</p>

<p><strong>Controversies surrounding Starlink and its web of satellites</strong><br />

Since the outbreak of Russia-Ukraine war, Russian missile attacks have severely damaged infrastructure in Ukraine. This includes traditional internet network that is no longer reliable.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ukrainian armed forces have hence heavily relied on net connectivity facilitated by Starlink to co-ordination military movements and thwart Russian advance which, at the beginning of the war appeared unstoppable.</p>

<p>However, Musk admitted himself in September this year that he refused request from Ukraine to make Starlink network available in Crimean peninsula so that Ukraine can launch a major drone attack against Russian warships anchored at Sevastopol. He said on X, the social media platform he owns, that agreeing to the request would have amounted to being 'complicit in a major act of war'.</p>

<p>"There was an emergency request from government authorities to activate Starlink all the way to Sevastopol. The obvious intent being to sink most of the Russian fleet at anchor. If I had agreed to their request, then SpaceX would be explicitly complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation," he wrote in his post on X last year.</p>

<p>The lifespan of a Starlink satellite is approximately five years and eventually, SpaceX plans to have as many as 42,000 satellites in this so-called megaconstellation.<br />

The phone network and internet access were completely snapped across Gaza on Friday (Oct 27), as Israel continued to intensely bombard the Palestinian territory. Israel has been accused by Hamas of taking measures "to perpetrate massacres with bloody retaliatory strikes from the air, land and sea."<br />

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that the "disruption affects the central emergency number 101 and hinders the arrival of ambulance vehicles to the wounded" in the ongoing strikes.<br />

The organisation added that it was "deeply concerned" about the ability of medics to continue providing care to the injured along with the safety of the staff.</p>

Global internet monitor NetBlocks had stated "a collapse in connectivity in the Gaza Strip with high impact to Paltel," the owner of Jawwal. "The company is the last remaining major operator to supply service as connectivity declines amid ongoing fighting with Israel," wrote NetBlocks on X.</p>

<p>Johnson, who became the US House Speaker after a long squabble within Republican party members of the chamber, had made the comments in a hearing on the Twitter Files in March.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>What does it mean?</strong></h2>

<p>Johnson is now in position to push for the measures aimed at reducing the censorship of individuals on social media.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The federal government, from Democrat members of Congress to intelligence agencies, including the FBI, used Twitter and other social media companies to censor Americans’ speech. If the alarm bells are not going off, then you’re not paying attention," Johnson can be heard saying at&nbsp;the hearing.</p>

The FBI pressured Twitter to act on election related tweets leading up to the 2022 election… and Twitter dutifully censored content."</p>

<p>Johnson was previously a member of the House Judiciary Committee under chairman Jim Jordan. The committee was investigating the potential link between federal agencies and Big Tech companies to censor the individuals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The screenshot shows a number of options which would let users decide whom they want to “allow audio and video calls from” like those in their address book, all verified users, and people they “follow”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, multiple users responded to Musk’s post saying they did not see the feature in their app.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>‘Everything app’</strong></h2>

<p>After rebranding Twitter as X, Musk had said that he would turn the platform into a super-app which would offer a number of services from messaging and social networking to peer-to-peer payments.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this year, in August, the Tesla CEO had said that a feature to allow voice and video calls on the social media platform was in the works at X.&nbsp;</p>
