<p>Soon after the accident, Halyna Hutchins, 42, was transported by helicopter to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. She died there. Meanwhile, the director was taken by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries.</p>

<p>In a statement, the Sheriff’s office said in a statement that Hutchins and Souza “were shot when a prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin, 68, producer and actor.”</p>

<p>No one was arrested in the incident, and no charges have been filed, the office said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The TV show opened with a sketch making fun of the raucous presidential debate between Trump and Democratic contender Joe Biden, played by Jim Carrey, that took place before Trump tested positive for the disease.</p>

<p>"However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as much."</p>

<p>Baldwin won an Emmy Award in 2017 for his scathing impressions of Trump. He is also known for portraying network executive Jack Donaghy in NBC's '30 Rock' sitcom.</p>

<p>Baldwin has a history of losing his temper.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In 2014, he was given a summons for disorderly conduct after an argument with police when he was stopped for riding his bike down a one-way street in New York. It was not clear what followed the summons notice.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In 2011, he was thrown off an American Airlines flight after refusing to stop playing a game on his phone before takeoff.</p>
