Piers Morgan, has praised Ariana Grande and apologised to her following the One Love Manchester concert, for criticising her for not visiting her injured fans in the hospital.

British journalist Piers Morganhas praised Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester concertand even apologised for 'misjudging' her previously for not visiting her injured fans in hospital after the Manchester suicide bombing that killed 22 people and injured 59on 22nd May.

The former editor of the Daily Newshad criticised the American pop star, saying that if Queen Elizabeth could visit the hospital to meet the injured, Ariana Grande should have also done the same.

However, this is not the first time Piers Morgan has been at the centre of a Twitter controversy. Last year, hehad hit out at India's performance in the Rio Olympics.

During Sunday's concert, Grande had said she had not planned to play so many of her big hits but changed her mind after meeting the mother of Olivia Campbell-Hardy, 15, who was among the victims of the blast that kiiled 22 people at her concert last week.

She said: "I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia's mummy a few days ago and I started to cry and gave her a big hug and she said 'Stop crying, because Olivia wouldn't have wanted you to cry'."

"And then she told me Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits. We had a different show planned and we had a rehearsal yesterday and we changed everything."
