It hired a private agency to assist them with shooting videos while staying there. Jyoti Malhotra was one among these 41 influencers.&nbsp;With the news leading to opposition parties questioning the state government, Kerala Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyas said that Jyoti Malhotra was among the influencers invited by the state to promote Kerala. "This was part of a larger influencer campaign aimed at promoting Kerala. Everything was done transparently and in good faith," he was quoted saying. “This is not a government that facilitates espionage. The media must understand how government systems work. No one could have foreseen this,” he added. &nbsp;He described the charges being leveled against the state government for inviting her as "pure propaganda" and that the state government "would never knowingly invite a spy". Though a brief increase in heart-related incidents was observed shortly after COVID, likely due to inflammation, its long-term effects, beyond one year, seem to be minimal, according to India Today.Dr Ravindranath said that the ongoing Premature Cardiac registry by the Jayadeva Hospital enabled a comparison between pre- and post-Covid data. “We observed a 5–6% increase in diabetes, hypertension, and smoking post-Covid. This points to a shift in health trends,” he said.“We analysed patients and found their risk profiles have changed. We reviewed ICMR and other peer-reviewed studies, and the consensus is clear: there is no direct link between Covid vaccination and increased cardiac events,” he explained.“However, individuals with severe Covid, especially ICU cases, showed a rise in heart attacks within six months to a year post-recovery. But long-term data, over three to four years, shows no sustained increase in cardiac events in the general population," he added.<h3>Study says vaccines offer lasting protection against heart complications</h3>The study also dismissed claims linking sudden deaths in young adults to ‘long Covid’ or Covid-19 vaccines. The new guidelines also require the vehicle owner to deregister their vehicles that exceed the age limit.The new guidelines issued under the Motor Vehicles Aggregator Guidelines, 2025, will be applicable across the country and will come into effect for thousands of commercial drivers currently running older cars under aggregator apps.“An aggregator shall not onboard vehicles which have been registered for more than a period of eight years from the date of initial registration of the vehicle and shall ensure that all vehicles onboarded by it should not have exceeded eight years since the date of initial registration of the vehicle," the Ministry said.According to a report in News 18, the government has also made it compulsory to show a copy of the driver’s licence and the motor vehicle permit inside the motor vehicle, except for motorcycles. “The said display shall be on the back side of the front seat next to the driver in such a manner as shall be clearly visible to the passengers in the motor vehicle," the Ministry added.The guidelines also directed the app to display a clear and high-resolution picture of the driver onboarded on the app of the aggregator, mandating the drivers to undergo a psychological analysis administered by the aggregator to figure out whether “they are fit to be onboarded".official explained that cab operators will now be required to conduct psychological assessments of drivers to evaluate their mental and emotional well-being. “This has to be done by the aggregator. He added that the decision violated the procedure as per the Aircraft Security Rules. He said that the Director General of BCAS ought to have given the petitioners a hearing after issuing a notice of “proposed punishment” along with reasons for their action. In a statement released on May 15, the Civil Aviation Ministry said, “The security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd, under the category Ground Handling Agency was approved by DG, BCAS vide letter no. 15/99/2022-Delhi-BCAS/E-219110 dated 21.11.2022.” “In the exercise of power conferred upon DG, BCAS, the security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd is hereby revoked with immediate effect in the interest of National Security. This issues with the approval of DG, BCAS,” the statement added.

However, there seems some hope for one of the most lethal fighter jet as a maintenance team of 24 engineers from the United Kingdom have landed in India to fix the problem and take the jet home.&nbsp;The 24-member team that includes 14 technical experts and 10 crew members from the British Royal Air Force will asses the condition of the jet and take a decision on whether to repair the aircraft or dismantle it and take it back on the C-17 Globemaster, a large military transport aircraft.&nbsp;Meanwhile, the jet has been moved to a designated facility for the aviation engineers to take a look at it.&nbsp;"A UK engineering team has deployed to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to assess and repair the UK F-35B aircraft, which landed following an emergency diversion. The UK has accepted the offer of a space in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility, and are in discussions to finalise arrangements with relevant authorities," said a British High Commission Spokesperson to the media.&nbsp;"In line with standard procedure, the aircraft will be moved following the arrival of UK engineers, who are carrying specialist equipment necessary for the movement and repair process. How did the jet get stranded&nbsp;Operating from the United Kingdom’s aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales on June 14, the fighter jet was conducting a routine flying outside India’s Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) when it was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram, the designated emergency recovery airfield for the aircraft.&nbsp;Initially, the fighter jet was facing a problem of low fuel and the Indian Air Force provided all necessary help. It was further revealed that after realising the intensity of his crime, Mishra, on June 26, contacted an "influential" person in Deshapriya Park, South Kolkata, who had previously helped him. However, sensing the 'mood' of the situation, the person advised Monojit to back off.&nbsp;The prime accused then sought help from his "mentors" to find an escape route, the officer said."Monojit went to various parts of the city, including Rashbehari, Deshapriya Park, Gariahat, Fern Road, and Ballygunge Station Road, trying to meet his mentors. Mishra was a criminal lawyer and an alumnus of the South Calcutta Law College where he allegedly raped a 24-year-old student. Ganguly is the senior of Mishra.&nbsp;The defence lawyer claimed that the scratch marks found around Mishra's neck in a medical examination were love bites. Moreover, Ganguly has told the Indian media that he has demanded from the court that the mobile phone of the gang-rape survivor. He also demanded an investigation of her phone as well. he defense accused tat the survivor is trying to trap Mishra in the rape - that has been proven with various medical reports and CCTV footage.&nbsp;

While on April 2023, the Tamil Nadu Assembly today passed the Factories (Amendment) Act 2023 On Friday, extending the working hours from eight to 12-hour working hours for factory workers. The Indian government gave a big relief to vehicle owners as it has reduced the toll rates for stretches such as flyovers and tunnels up to 50 per cent. According to a revised notification by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the new toll prices will apply to sections of National Highways featuring major structures, such as tunnels, bridges, flyovers, and elevated corridors. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has amended the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. The ministry introduced a revised formula for calculating toll charges. The notification for changes came on July 2.&nbsp;As per the new rules, the toll rates &nbsp;will now be determined based on the lesser of the two values:&nbsp;1. 10 times he length of the structure(s) added to the rest of the highway section. This excludes the structure.&nbsp;2. Five times the total length of the section, including the structure(s).&nbsp;The notification even clarified that "'structure' means an independent bridge, tunnel, flyover or elevated highway."The ministry explained this with an example as well to make people undertstand tit better. The example said that a 40-kilometre highway section comprises entirely of structural elements. Under the old system, a toll would be charged for 400 kilometres (10 x 40 km). Under the new formula, the toll would instead be calculated on 200 kilometres (5 x 40 km), effectively halving the cost for commuters.&nbsp;At present, vehicle owners are charged at a rate ten times higher than normal for every kilometre of travel. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has amended the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. 

The Indian government gave a big relief to vehicle owners as it has reduced the toll rates for stretches such as flyovers and tunnels up to 50 per cent. According to a revised notification by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the new toll prices will apply to sections of National Highways featuring major structures, such as tunnels, bridges, flyovers, and elevated corridors. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has amended the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. The ministry introduced a revised formula for calculating toll charges. The notification for changes came on July 2. As per the new rules, the toll rates will now be determined based on the lesser of the two values: 1. 10 times he length of the structure(s) added to the rest of the highway section. This excludes the structure. 2. Five times the total length of the section, including the structure(s). The notification even clarified that "'structure' means an independent bridge, tunnel, flyover or elevated highway." The ministry explained this with an example as well to make people undertstand tit better. The example said that a 40-kilometre highway section comprises entirely of structural elements. Under the old system, a toll would be charged for 400 kilometres (10 x 40 km). Under the new formula, the toll would instead be calculated on 200 kilometres (5 x 40 km), effectively halving the cost for commuters. At present, vehicle owners are charged at a rate ten times higher than normal for every kilometre of travel. This is due to the elevated construction and maintenance costs.
