The Supreme Court will hear a petition filed by Pradyuman Thakur's family challenging the anticipatory bail granted to the Pintos' who are the founder of the Ryan Group of Institutions.

The Pinto family got an anticipatory bail in connection with the murder case by Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 21.

However, they are barred from leaving the country without permission by Justice Surendra Gupta, also directed them to extend their support in the investigation.

Seven-year-old Pradyuman was murdered with his throat slit inside the school; following which Gurugram police arrested bus conductor Ashok who was first accused of the murder but now has been granted bail.

In the further investigation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who is now probing the case, has given bus conductor Ashok a clean chit and held a class 11 student, who had wanted to get an exam and a parent-teacher meeting postponed, responsible for the murder.
