Advocate Vijay Aggarwal to be the lawyer of jeweler Nirav Modi accused of PNB scam.
Vijay Aggarwal has represented a number of high-profile accused in 2G spectrum allocation case.
He has represented Swan telecom promoters Shahid Usman Balwa, Vinod Goenka and other associated with them in the 2G scam.
In 2013 Vijay Aggarwal was expelled from the New Delhi Bar Association and his chamber at Patiala House Court complex for his alleged abusive behavior.
He allegedly threatened another lawyer and called bouncers in the court premises.
He was also slapped with a show-cause notice by the bar council in 2011 for indulging in the two professions -chartered accountancy and advocacy- simultaneously.
