In 2013 Vijay Aggarwal was expelled from the New Delhi Bar Association and his chamber at Patiala House Court complex for his alleged abusive behavior.

He allegedly threatened another lawyer and called bouncers in the court premises.

He was also slapped with a show-cause notice by the bar council in 2011 for indulging in the two professions -chartered accountancy and advocacy- simultaneously.

CBI is currently questioning Nirav Modi's chief financial officer Vipul Ambani in connection with the 11:400 crore scam in their headquarters.

Absconded Nirav Modicarried out fraud transactions by acquiringfake letters of undertaking from Punjab National Bank as a proof to other banks to extract money from them.

Last week Punjab National Bank announced that it had discovered fraudulent transactions worth Rs 11,400 crore at MCB Brady House branch now sealed by CBI in Mumbai.
