After the Supreme Court verdict on Cauvery river, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has hinted at introducing plans to resolve water issue in Tamil Nadu.

He said their government was planning to introduce two river connectivity projects which they have researched upon.

He said their project for interlinking rivers would help in resolving the water issues in Tamil Nadu.

The Supreme Courttoday delivered its verdict onthe decades-old Cauvery water dispute between Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.

The Supreme Courtjudge directed Karnataka toget additional 14.75 thousand million cubic (TMC) water and Tamil Nadu to now get 177.25 TMCwater instead of 192 TMC.
