CBSE Class 12 Results Out 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the much-awaited results of Class 12 boards for the session 2023-24. In the official press release of the CBSE, the expected result declaration date for Class 12 was May 13.

A total of 89.98 per cent of students passed the board exams this year, an increase of 0.65 per cent as compared to last year, as per the official press release of CBSE.

“Girls outshine boys by over 6.40 per cent points; over 91 per cent, girls passed the exam,” the CBSE press release notes.

Trivandrum tops the charts in region-wise passing percentage, with 99.91 per cent of students passing in the region. It was followed by Vijayawada, Chennai and Bengaluru with 99.04 per cent, 98.47 per cent and 96.95 per cent, respectively.

A total of 50 per cent transgender students also passed the CBSE Class 12 boards with flying colours. This mark was less than last year's percentage when 60 per cent of transgender students cleared the boards.

When it comes to institution-wise performance, the Central Tibetan Schools Administration takes the top spot with 99.23 per cent clearing the Class 12 boards. It was followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas around the country, with pass percentages of 98.90 and 98.81, respectively.

- Visit the Official Website: Open your browser and go to http://cbseresults.nic.in.

- Click on the Relevant Link: Find and click on the link for "Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2024".

- Enter Your Credentials: You will need to enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID as provided on your admit card.

- View Your Result: After entering the details, click on the submit button. Your result will be displayed on the screen.

- Download/Print: For future reference, you can download or print your result.

Students can also access their results via SMS or the UMANG app if the website experiences high traffic volume. The CBSE has taken steps to ensure the website handles the increased traffic efficiently today.
