CBSE Class 10 Results Out 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the much-awaited results of Class 12 and 10 boards for the session 2023-24. The Class 10 board result was released right after the result declaration of Class 12 results on May 13.

A total of 93.6 per cent of students have passed the board exams this year, an increase of 0.48 per cent as compared to last year, as per the official press release of CBSE.

“Girls have done better than boys by over 2.40 per cent points," CBSE press release notes.

Trivandrum tops the charts in region-wise passing percentage, with 99.75 per cent of students passing in the region. It was followed by Vijayawada, Chennai and Bengaluru with 99.60 per cent, 99.30 per cent and 99.26 per cent respectively.

A total of 91.30 per cent of transgender students also passed the CBSE Class 10 boards with flying colours. This mark was higher than last year's percentage when 90 per cent of transgender students cleared Class 10 boards.

When it comes to institution-wise performance, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas took the top spot with 99.09 per cent clearing Class 10 boards, followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas around the country, with a similar passing percentage.
