Move over Bollywood, Chris Hemsworth celebrated Diwali in traditional Indian attire

You know that Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth who is best known for his superhero character ‘Thor’ is currently in India. As the star is busy shooting for his upcoming Netflix film ‘Dhaka’ in Ahmedabad with Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda, he pulled a never-seen-before look. 
It was Diwali in India on November 8 this year and the ‘God of Thunder’ as he happened to be in India, dressed up in a classy traditional kurta along with director and Randeep who were all seen smiling for a video posted on Instagram. In the video posted, the trio look happy as they flash a million dollar smile and a tikka on the forehead, which is put after Diwali puja by Hindus of the country. 
The video was captioned: “Happy Diwali to everyone in India and around the globe.”

Earlier, Chris posted some photos from the sets and wrote: “Week one down here in India. By far some of the most intense action sequences I’ve been a part of and the heat certainly adds an edge to it but damn we’re getting good stuff!! gonna be unreal. The first shot is of our director, the insanely talented @thesamhargrave.”

Chris and team will be put in Ahmedabad for 10 days before they move to Mumbai and then travel to Thailand. 
The Netflix film ‘Dhaka’ is written by Russo Brothers. It is the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave. 
The Ahmedabad shooting schedule will be of 10 days followed by Mumbai schedule. In Mumbai, two locations Dharavi and Byculla have been zeroed in for the shoot. After that, they will reportedly head to Thailand.
