Indian industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s elder son, Akash got married to Shloka Mehta in an elaborate function on March 9. From colourful traditional dresses to glitzy decor, the wedding served us some major wedding inspiration ideas. The wedding guests list included some very high-profile guests including Google CEO Sundar Pichai and his wife, Tony Blair and his wife, along with the entire Bollywood that turned up to bless the couple.
Later on March 10, they hosted a grand post-wedding celebration. Among the stunning guests from Bollywood were Kapoor sisters, Kareena and Karisma, Aishwarya Rai with husband and daughter, Amitabh Bachchan with daughter Shweta, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle. Sonali Bendre also stunned as she made a rare public appearance post her return to Mumbai after cancer treatment in the US.
Choreographer Farah Khan, shuttler P V Sindhu, Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj, Prasoon Joshi, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sanjay Khan came with family and many others.

It took place at the country's largest corporate house's newly-constructed convention centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Ahead of the grand wedding, Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani started a week-long Anna Seva (Food Service) programme in all the orphanages and old age homes in Mumbai on Wednesday. They served food to about 2,000 children.
The senior Ambani couple also organised a special concert for their son Akash and the new daughter-in-law as they hosted Adam Levine of Maroon 5 to perform. The guests can come be heard cheering for the singer who belted out some hits like ‘Girls Like You’ and others.
