Taylor Swift has thrilling news for fans! The pop superstar has announced her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, in a teaser for an upcoming special episode of Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast
Swifties, get ready for Taylor Swift's new album! On Tuesday, the Grammy-winning superstar announced her 12th original studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Swift made the big announcement alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights Podcast. Swift made the big announcement in a totally unexpected way, but the countdown had already hinted that something major was on the way.

The new album, which is Swift’s 12th studio release, was announced at exactly 12:12 a.m. ET on August 12. So basically, everything is related to number 12. In the video clip shared on Instagram, the 35-year-old rockstar said,"Can I show you something?"
Jason replies, "Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it." "Yup," Swift adds, as Travis was seen making funny faces.
"What's in it?" Jason asks.
"This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl," Swift reveals. ''TS 12!'' Travis says.

The countdown on Swift’s website ended at exactly 12:12 am, revealing a glittery orange album cover available for purchase in vinyl, cassette, and CD formats.
The Life of a Showgirl marks Swift’s next major project following The Tortured Poets Department, which she announced during the 2024 Grammy Awards in April.
