Ajay Devgn's film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha gets a new release date

After a sudden delay, Ajay Devgn and Tabu's upcoming romantic drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has a new release date. Originallyscheduled for a July 5 release, the movie will now hit the theatres on August 2.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie was postponed to avoid a clash with Karan Johar's actioner Kill.
On Saturday (Jul 6), Ajay made the new announcement on his social media. He wrote,"The wait ends on 2nd August! (heart emoji).”

Earlier this week, the production house Friday Filmworks released a statement on its social media handle that read, "Dear Friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New release date to be announced soon."

The movie marks the first collaboration between Devgn and director Neeraj Pandey.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will tell the story of ill-fated two lovers Krishna (Devgn) and Basu (Tabu), whose lives areturned upside down after Krishna is accused of murder and ends upserving 22 years in jail. However, this doesn't mark the end of their love story.
While Krishna is in jail, Golu gets married but shecannot forget her first love and needs proper closure from Krishna.Spanning 23 years, the moviefeatures Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar as Ajay and Tabu's younger versions respectively.
Jimmy Shergill plays Tabu's husband in this unusual love story.
Modern Masters: Netflix documentary on SS Rajamouli to release on THIS date
Ajay and Tabu's chemistry in the trailer looks promising. Apart from this film, the two actors have worked in multiple movies, such as Drishyam, Golmaal Again, and De De Pyaar De among others.
