Anupam Kher’s Mumbai office robbed; entire money locker stolen

On Wednesday (June 19) Bollywood actor Anupam Kher's office was robbed. A day after the incident occurred, the actor shared the news on his official Instagram handle.
The two robbers broke into his office located on Veera Desai Road in Mumbai late at night, reportedly, stealing Rs. 4.15 lakh cash, approximately. Sharing a video shot by a staff member, the actor wrote that two robbers took the entire safe with them from the accounts department, which probably they were not able to open.
In the post, The Kashmir Files actor shared that he had registered an FIR.
The actor wrote in the caption, ''Last night in my Veera Desai Road office two thieves broke two doors of my office and the whole safe from the Accounts Department (which probably couldn't break) and negative of a film produced by our company which was in a box, stole. Our office has got an FIR done. And police have assured thieves will be caught very soon. Because they have been captured in the CCTV footage. May God give them wisdom. This video was made by my office members before the police came! 🙏''

In the CCTV footage, two thieves were seen fleeing off in an auto-rickshaw with the stolen items.
Apart from the entire money locker,negatives of a film that had not been released yet were also stolen. The matter came to light on Thursday (June 20) morning, when staff members arrived and the found doors broken. The FIR wasregistered at Amboli police station.
