India's batting line-up crumbled against the Sri Lankan attack -- with the Indians being bowled out for a measly 112.

The first ODI against Sri Lanka was being played at the picturesque HPCA cricket stadium in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.

But the cold and the pitch conditions were too much for the Indians.

Former captain MS Dhoni fought a lone battle, scoring 65.

The rest of the batting lineup struggled to get to two figures.

Stand-in captain Rohit Sharma -- Virat Kohli is being rested -- was caught on 2.

There were four ducks -- Dhawan, Karthik, Kumar, and Bumrah.

Perhaps what summed it up best was the fact that after Dhoni, the second-highest scorer (19) was Kuldeep Yadav -- a bowler.

The only other person who got to two figures (10) was Pandya.
