RML Group appoints Paul Dickinson as the new COO
RML Group Ltd, a leading UK-based high-performance automotive engineering company, has announced the appointment of Paul Dickinson as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dickinson, aged 43, brings extensive experience from senior management roles at renowned automotive manufacturers, including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Bentley Motors, and Group Lotus.
The appointment of Dickinson coincides with the company's announcement of major new investments and a restructuring of its main engineering teams into four distinct divisions. This move aims to position RML Group for growth and better serve the unique needs of customers across different sectors.
The four newly formed divisions within RML Group are:
1. Power: Focused on innovative internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) drivetrain development.
2. Engineering: Dedicated to bespoke vehicle manufacturing and engineering projects.
3. Motorsport: Specialising in motorsport engineering and racing activities.
4. Bespoke: Catering to personal commissions and customisation requests.
This restructuring acknowledges the diverse requirements of customers in various industries and enables RML Group to provide category-specific products and services tailored to their needs.
Michael Mallock, the CEO of RML Group, emphasised the significance of Dickinson's appointment, stating, "Paul's arrival is a key part of our strategic growth as our industry rapidly expands into electrification and other new technologies while remaining rooted in traditional engineering excellence."
