Norton Motorcycles announces leadership transition to drive future growth

TVS Motor Company, owner of Norton Motorcycles, has announced a change of strategic leadership to chart the company’s next phase of growth. Dr. Effective immediately, Robert Hentschel, the Chief Executive Officer since 2021, will step down from this role and become a non executive director.

Among his many contributions, Dr. Hentschel helped strengthen Norton’s operational foundation and guide the company through key stages in the implementation of its growth plan, fostering a highly synergistic relationship with parent company TVS Motor. He has played a crucial role in positioning Norton for future success and creating a solid foundation of expansion.

Norton introduces a new leadership structure to ensure ongoing growth and operational excellence. Executive Director, overseeing all upstream business operations, Nevijo Mance has been appointed. Mance will play the role of product design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality control, and supply chain management. In maintaining Norton’s reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and premium quality, his focus on these key areas will help.

Afterwards, Richard Arnold, who joined as Executive Director in June 2024, will oversee the downstream operations, including marketing, brand management, sales, distribution, customer relationship management, after-sales service, and public relations. Arnold will focus his efforts on growing Norton’s market reach, enhancing the customer experience, and carving out brand global share.

This refined leadership structure is established to guide Norton on its journey to becoming a global leader in the premium motorcycle segment. In line with its legacy of quality and craftsmanship, Norton strives to align its operational and customer focused strategies, to enhance current international sales and drive growth in other key markets.
