Senior Hamas official Taher al-Nunu said that the Palestinian militant group will be releasing all remaining hostages in a single swap during the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
Taher al-Nunu said that they have informed mediators about this.&nbsp;
&ldquo;We have informed the mediators that Hamas is ready to release all hostages in one batch during the second phase of the agreement, rather than in stages, as in the current first phase,&rdquo; Taher al-Nunu said.
Nunu did not clarify if the Hamas group will also release the bodies of dead hostages, which are slated to be transferred in the third phase.&nbsp;

<h2>IDF to receive four bodies of slain Israeli hostages&nbsp;</h2>
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Wednesday said that they are ready for tomorrow's transfer by Hamas of four slain Israeli hostages, including preparations for a brief military ceremony upon receiving the bodies.
Hamas has announced that it will be handing over the bodies of Shiri Silberman Bibas and her two young children, Ariel and Kfir, along with another slain hostage who has not been named.

The IDF said that it will also investigate the causes of the deaths of the hostages, and that, at this stage, claims made by Hamas are unverified.

"The follow-up chest CT scan which the Holy Father underwent this afternoon... demonstrated the onset of bilateral pneumonia, which required additional drug therapy," it added.

Bronchiectasis is when the bronchi, or air passages, thicken due to infection or another condition.
The pontiff had part of his right lung cut away when he was 21, after developing pleurisy that almost killed him.
The Vatican has cancelled a papal audience on Saturday and said the pope would not attend a mass on Sunday, although it has yet to announce plans for his weekly Angelus prayer, which is held on Sunday at midday.
<h2><hl2>'Delicate situation'&nbsp;</hl2></h2>
Cardinal Baldassare Reina, vicar general of the Diocese of Rome, called on all parishes in the Italian capital to pray for the recovery of the pope, who has been busy with a packed calendar of events due to a special Catholic year called a "Jubilee".
Candles, some with pictures of the pope on them, have been set at the bottom of a statue of Pope John Paul II outside the Gemelli hospital, where pilgrims have been coming to pray.
"I hope he recovers as soon as possible because this is the Jubilee year and he has so much to do for young people, for everyone, it's very sad," said Annamaria Santoro, an Italian woman whose son was in the same hospital.

US President Donald Trump has placed the blame on Ukraine for the ongoing war with Russia, which is nearing its third anniversary. He stressed that Ukraine "could have made a deal" and avoided the devastating consequences of war.
Trump, during a press briefing at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, emphasised that Ukraine should have negotiated a deal before the conflict escalated in 2022.
Trump's remarks came after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, on Tuesday (Feb 18), held talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other officials, that primarily focused on a broad range of issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
Both sides expressed a commitment to resolving the conflict and addressing the root causes that led to the war.
Rubio said that after an intense, four-hour meeting in Saudi Arabia, the United States and Russia agreed on four crucial principles, including the establishment of a high-level team to "negotiate and work through the end of the conflict in Ukraine" in a way that's "acceptable to all the parties engaged," according to CNN reports.
