US: Woman opens fire on a 7-month-old baby over $100 debt in Philadelphia

A shocking incident in Philadelphia, captured on camera, shows a woman shooting at a seven-month-old baby due to a $100 drug debt. The 28-year-old suspect, Dominique Billips, was arrested after the video revealed her opening fire at the baby and her parents, shouting, "Fu** your baby, bit**!"
“Sometimes the things we see are mind-boggling,” Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum stated during a press conference.
“You knew they had a stroller. What makes you walk up to someone with a stroller and shoot them?” Rosenbaum questioned, calling the attack “very disturbing”.

The baby sustained a leg injury. The parents later revealed that the shooting was over a $100 “narcotics debt.”
"The mother and father … left the location because of fear from police because of outstanding warrants,” Rosenbaum added. Someone then rushed the baby to the hospital.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small stated, "We’re very fortunate that the 7-month-old boy is in stable condition," after the shooting incident.
Rosenbaum said that the baby’s father was the intended target of the shooter, and the child along with the mother were unfortunately caught in the crossfire. Rosenbaum explained, "In the video, you can see the gun is aimed at the baby’s mother, who is also young, and shots were fired. Fortunately, she missed."
Rosenbaum added, "The 7-month-old won’t recall this, but it will always be remembered. This story will never fade away." The infant has since been released from the hospital, as reported by the New York Post.
Following the shooting, Billips was arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault and firearm offences.
